BUZZNET STORY TELLER'S GROUP ASSIGNMENT #24: NYE

NYE is always a fun time! Maybe i'm wrong about this, but I feel that NYE is a time in America to be loud, social, and have a good time. Besides that, I don't have too many traditions that I associate with NYE. This NYE was pretty low key. I went over to my best friend Katie's home. We watched Magic Mike to start off the night (and had a few margaritas). After the movie, we went out dancing. Note: going out in my town is very different than most places. Though I love to dance and have fun, I felt the general population was about 1.75x my age looking for a good time. Not particularly my scene, so we left. 

I got to catch a little bit of Anderson Cooper's broadcast of NYE, which is great, because I like to support my future husband. That said, more margaritas were had and we played a couple of board games.

As I said, it was not a crazy night by any means - but any night out with my best friend is a night well spent. I also didn't really bother to take any photos! : ( Bad Jacob, I know!
